This error code indicates that no water detected entering washer after 13 minutes, the pressure switch input has not been detected.
If the washer has an F8 E1 error or LO FL error, the door will be locked, and the control will be unresponsive. Press the power button, and the washer will start a drain routine which takes approximately 8 to 10 minutes, during which time the pump will run continuously. The control will not accept any input during this time. Please wait 10 minutes before trying to perform any functions.
Check the water supply:
Turn on the water. Check the household water supply to see if the hot and cold water faucets are turned on. Make sure to open both faucets completely for proper fill.
NOTE: Both Hot and Cold water must be supplied to the washer.
Remove F8 E1 Error Code:
To remove the error display, press Power once. Then press Power again to restart the washer.
If pressing Power does not work:
Unplug the washer or disconnect the power for one minute.
Plug in the washer or reconnect the power.
Re-select the cycle and press Start.
NOTES:
On some washers, when the washer is started for the first time after this error code, it will begin to drain. You will not be able to pause or cancel the cycle for about 8 minutes while it drains. This is normal.
If the washer is just being installed, and powered on before water is connected, you will receive this error code. If the error code is not cleared before disconnecting power, when powered back up, the washer will immediately begin to drain. This draining process takes approximately 8-10 minutes to complete. Allow washer to complete this cycle before disconnecting power again.
If the error remains on the display, and all of the other conditions above have been checked, call for service.
LF in the display
When "LF" is displayed, there could be an issue with the water flowing into the machine. Check the water inlet hoses to be sure they are not clogged or kinked. You may also need to check the screens on the washer water inlet valve. This means shutting off the water supply, and disconnecting the water inlet hoses from the washer. Once the hoses are disconnected, you may have to scrape the sediment from the screens using a knife or sharp object.
